Stage1: Starting along the coast
This is a very beautiful stage, although it seems short of kilometers, do not trust, the stony trails make it go slower and even in some sections have to get off the bike to push a little while.
Rocky paths with some points where the sand makes you do acrobatics to not stop every two meters.
Only behind the tourist resort of Costa Teguise gets the track charm. Paths and trails (sometimes very stony). We will alternate stretches of coastline with other interiors. We will also pass close to small craters of volcanoes and lava fields difficult to cycle (in some cases you have to take the asphalt road).
Lonely sandy tracks along the coast with short trail sections lead to the north. Trails and tracks take us to Guatiza and the cactus garden. Un tronçon de voie rapide au Nord-Est de Tahiche, avant de pouvoir bifurquer pour Guatiza. Nous n’avons pas trouver de route parallèle. And by more fun paths and paths we go by El Palo del Palo. You cross the tranquil villages of Arrieta and Punta de Mujeres. From here to the Jameos a technical section is the biggest complication of the day along with the air of face on the road from the Jameos to Orzola. Aclimation stage to the terrain and the air.
Guatiza - El Jardín de Cactus (œuvres de César Manrique)
Arrieta, Punta Mujeres (Charmant anciens villages de pecheur).
Lunch in Arrieta where we eat fish and try the Malvasia with calm in front of the sea.
