Four-day hiking tour over Hardangervidda
The paths are quite different, partly rocky, partly muddy, partly so laid out that one had to lay out there also boards. The last part then goes in serpentines over an extended road which is partly not tarred. You should have good shoes and be sure-footed.

The landscape is very beautiful, you have great views, deep rocky slopes, many creeks, rivers and lakes, marshes and a quiet is there that immediately catches your eye.

Turn-by-turn directions

From Finse it goes once around the half glacier Hardanderjokulen where one crosses partly also ice surfaces, footbridges and hanging bridges, up to the reservoir Rembesdalsvatnet, where a partly unmanaged hut stands. You should ask at Finsahytta Hostel. The next day we continue to Liseth and follow the path with the red T at the stones. From Rembesterseter you can follow two paths, one leads left around the lake, and the other leads right down a hill and up steeply along the dam wall.In Liseth there are cabins for rent for the night. From there it goes the next day to Vivelid, follows only a few hundred meters the road 7 upwards until it, somewhat hidden, right a path follows. The next stop is in Vivelid. Here you can wash and dry your clothes, if you also have wet shoes, no problem, there is a drying room with hairdryers for shoes.
