Diversive medium difficult to difficult hike. Some ridge scrambling required.
The Trail takes you along the coastline of Soller and then up to and over the mountain ridge. Here some climbing/scrambling is required. Not real climbing, though some steep/high and narrow parts need both hands for stabilizing yourself, surefootedness and a good head for heights. After the ridge the trail continues down and alongside a valley and later through olive and orange fields and past a beautiful luxurious finca mansion. Just the last part is following the street again. Youll also pass a small orange juice bar at the beginning of the trail where you can take a nice refreshment whilst enjoying the beautiful view.
At the ridge small dogs would need to be carried up the biggest rocks. This requires some good fitness and a well behaving dog. Consider not taking your dog for this hike as you will need both hands to climb a small and narrow part at the ridge. Stable footwear and surefootedness required and at the ridge you need a good head for heights! A good fitness level is a benefit as the trail can get exhausting in the summer. In general take plenty of water! Not recommended for children!
