This easy hiking trail leads us to an impressive rock formation made ​​of red sandstone: the Double Arch.
A flat, sandy trail leads us to the Double Arch amidst majestic, desert-like landscape. The mighty double arch consists of two separate, huge arches, which are joined at one end and are almost at right angles to each other.

From the car park we follow the marked trail to Double Arch. Later, we return the same way.

 

Getting there

Driving on  U.S. Highway 191 and the Arches Entrance Road to the Arches National Park Visitor Center. In the Arches National Park Arches continue on Scenic Drive northbound and on the Road for Windows to the parking lot of the Double Arch Trail at the end of the road.
