Hiking trail to Bunes beach leads you to one of the most insulated beaches on Lofoten that immerses you in a bowl with boundless areas of white sand and grand mountains around.

Bunes Beach is certainly worth the visit when exploring Lofoten. It is positioned really isolated but this place is easily accessible and has spectacular surroundings. White sandy coast, endless blue ocean with grand glacially carved mountains can certanly impress everyone.

The whole path to Bunes is quite simple and more like a walk rather than a real hike. Consequently, it can be done even when the weather conditions are not perfect. Also, families with children can easily manage it. Anyway, this incredible sandy beach is worth the effort!

Bunes beach can be accessible from small village of Vindstad and to this village you can arrive only via local ferry from Reine. It makes this trip even more interesting and absolutely nor boring! From ferry desk you can enjoy the scenery of crystal-clear water and massive fjords around. The whole trip including the ferry takes about 3-4 hours.
