This round trip takes you via quiet villages through beautiful landscapes.
You leave Wismar on the long distance cycle path to the east and pass the 'Betonschiff' in Redentin through the typical Mecklenburg villages of Redentin and Alt Farpen to Neuburg. Worth seeing is the old church 'Neuburger Kirche', whose key you can pick up at the bakery next door. Amidst the picturesque landscape of Mecklenburg, you reach castle Gamehl 'Schloss Gamehl', embedded in a park with its own pond - ideal for a short cycling break.
Either the trail leads you west through Kartlow or you marvel at the village church in Goldebee 'Dorfkirche Goldebee' south of Gamehl. Both routes lead to Hornstorf. Worth seeing here is the village church 'Dorfkirche St. Laurentius', which was built in the Gothic style.
Since the ship 'Betonschiff Redentin' hit a sand bank in the 1960s, it is located in the bay in front of Redentin and can now be seen as a "Lost Place".
