Edebo church is typical for Roslagen, built from granite during the second half of the 15th century.
There is evidence of an earlier wooden church at the same spot and also a mention of its first priest in the year 1293. Inside the church, the visitor is met with the amazing work of “the Master of Edebo” who is said to have been working in the area around 1514. The baroque altarpiece and the pulpit are both from the early 18th century. The bell tower on the other side of the road and the largest of the church bells are from the 18th and the 17th century respectively.
