Take a look behind the scenes of the Salzburg Festival.
Festival district

The Great Festival Hall, the House of Mozart and the Felsenreitschule together with the cathedral square 200 meters away and the Collegienkirche are the festival district.
In 1606/07 “Erzbischof Wolf Dietrich” had stables built here, which were extended in 1662 by a winter riding school. In the 19th century, the complex served as a cavalry barracks, before it was opened gradually from 1925 to the Salzburg Festival.
Our tour will take you through the foyers, the auditorium and the stages of the Great Festival Hall, the House of Mozart and the Felsenreitschule (guided tour only).
