A historical estate with stunning views over Amalfi coastline

Villa Rufolo is an impressive example of the local architecture at the Amalfi coastline. Especially its vast and well-maintained gardens are always worth a visit. The villa was built in the 13th century and renovated in the 19th century. It is located at the center of Ravello, at lofty heights over the Amalfi coastline. That’s why you can enjoy breathtaking views over the coastline and the Gulf of Salerno from here. In the summertime, in the gardens of the villa, Ravello holds its regular festival in honor of Richard Wagner who found inspiration for his opera “Parsifal” here.
