Mountain shelter Jakob Mihelčić is a wooden hut located right below the ridge of Bjelolasica. The interior consists of a small dining area with wooden furniture and two tables, one of which is placed in a small apse offering magnificent views of Bijele stijene, Samarske stijene and Velebit. The shelter is named after a ranger who revealed the path to the peak of Bijele stijene to mountaineers in the 19th century.
