Hiking in Mallorca

Share
A hiking holiday in Mallorca paves the way to get to know the beauty of the Balearic Island far away from mass tourism and to get fascinating insights into the Majorcan culture. The hiking island Mallorca offers a number of tracks through a breathtaking landscape – whether in spring to witness almond blossom, on top of the mountain ranges of Serra de Tramuntana or deep inside the Barranc de Biniaraix, one of the island’s most beautiful gorges.

Deia to Port Soller

Walk between Deia and Port Soller, mostly on forest trails with a testing ascent on the way to the half way point, but it is more than made up for by the spectacular views.

A nice scenic walk starting at Cala Molins beach, follows Cami De Cala Carbb to Pollenca with its beautiful beach of (Platje Port De Pollenca), before heading back over the hills passing just below Talaia Vella, before returning to Cala Molins.

Soller to Deia

A fine walk to the picture-postcard village of Deia with it’s ochre-coloured houses.

Cuber to Lluc

Esporles to Valldemossa

A lovely walk from Esporels, with some steep sections that are made worthwhile by fantastic views as you make your way to Valldemossa.

Walk from Port de Soller to Torre Picada

Walk along the coast from Port de Soller, through winding olive groves and with swimming and picnic stops along the way.

Cuber to Soller

A pleasant and rewarding walk from Cuber Resorvoir, decsending steeply into Soller.

Puig Tomir-Lluc Monastry circular

A great all day hike heading to the top of Puig Tomir, one of the highest peaks in the Sierra Tramuntana mountains, and the magnificent Lluc Monastery.

Lluc to Pollenca

A fine walk, taking you through a variety of landscapes from the peace and quiet of monastery life to the comparatively hectic, but sophisticated bustle of Pollenca.

Tour of the Small Villages Walk from Soller

This pleasant walk has you walking on a mixture of quiet country roads, stony paths and forest tracks. There is unfortunately, one long (over a kilometer) section on a busy road which can’t be avoided. This section is clearly indicated on your route notes, with the associated warnings.
