A walk into wonderfully wild countryside, quite steep in places. Tremendous views, particularly if the skies are clear. Duration: 3.5 hours.

This is a relatively easy walk, at just under 4 km, and with less than 200 m overall ascent. It provides a tantalising introduction to the landscapes and views experienced whilst hiking in the Guia de Isora area on the west side of Tenerife.Duration: 2 hours

On a bright day there are great coastal and mountain views on this “there and back” route from little known east-coast settlement of La Jaca to the popular seaside town of Abades. The paths can be very rough and the steep ups and downs, in places, are a test of stamina. Duration: 4 hours

A short coastal walk to the popular and pretty secluded hamlet of Puertito on Costa Adeje. The return route passes by the colourful Bahia Principe hotel and Dzamling Gar Tibetan yoga centre. Some fine views in all directions.Duration: 2.5 hours
