A very scenic walk in the pine forest beneath the rim of the Teide Caldera. Roque del Almendro and El Sombreo de Chasna tower above you for significant sections of the route. If you are feeling energetic, there is an optional diversion to the peak of El Sombreo de Chasna.Duration: 3 hours

A very good half-day walk with a reasonably strenuous 435 m overall ascent on mostly very stony paths. There are great views, from very different aspects, in each section of the route. This is a highly recommended introduction to walking in the Tamaimo area!Duration: 3.5 hours.
