South England

The South of England is truly a magical region and ideal for walking and biking. Immerse into the cultural landscape and explore the historical testimonies of the British ancestors. The mysterious stone circle of Stonehenge still holds its secrets and challenges you to solve its riddle. The farther south you go the older the surrounding seems to be. Walk alongside the White Cliffs of Kent, explore the gloomy Dartmoor in Devon and the romantic Cornwall.

Midlands

The Midlands contains two of England's greatest Areas of National Beauty (AONB), the Cotswolds and the Peak District. Both areas are excellent for outdoor activities, walking and cycling especially. Some of the peaks can even be quite challenging to climb but the reward is an endless view on the vast landscape all around. Heritage sites on every corner tell the story of Roman settlements and manufacturing centers of the Industrial Revolution.

North England

In former times, the North of England was known for its heavy industry. In some places it still plays a decisive role, however, other regions turned their domain away from the dark and smoggy industry and changed to a paradise for visitors. A great network of paths leads to the most beautiful national parkland of the UK. In the Lake District or the Yorkshire Dales, every kind of outdoor enthusiast will find their perfect adventure. The mile-long routes along the Hadrian’s Wall tell the story of England's history while guiding you through valleys and over mountain tops.

Paying a visit to the big cities of the North teaches everyone about their cultural versatility. In Liverpool, you can learn facts about the Titanic in its museum at the harbor and follow the footprints of the Beatles in the city center. Manchester is not only home to England’s most popular football teams but also a great place for art lovers and an excellent starting point for detours to the Lake District National Park.
