The first hotel is nice although our room was clearly in the ‘cheap seats’ - this is a 4*hotel with great views of the castle. This was a good days cycling with lots of locks and lovely countryside. Terrain was reasonable although off road by canal will be a bit lumpy (we met some people who were maiming ‘cos it wasn’t tarmac!). Being a Sunday not too many coffee/lunch opportunities but some lovely spots for a picnic. The ride into Homps is good but do not rely on the app to get you to the Jardin D’Homps as it takes you over the canal and almost out of the other side of the village. On arrival at the B&B you will not be disappointed-it is just fantastic.
