Hot all the way (22C) and strongish SW wind.
With Mel, Rob and Vicky.
Just a gentle social walk. Intended to take a path below the wooded bit of Pindale Road, but it was unsigned, very overgrown, and impenetrable after 100 yards, so abandoned that idea. The path was shown on the OS site, but not much evidence of it elsewhere. Lunch taken in the beer garden of The Castle; first time any of us had been to The Castle, and food was very good. Definitely worth considering as an alternative to The Bull's Head.
