Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu has magnificent cities like Chennai and Madurai. UNESCO World Heritage Site of Chola Temples is the pinnacle of Hindu architecture. Hill stations like Ooty and Kodaikanal are big tourist centres during summer holidays. Pilgrims visit temples like Meenakshi Amman and Ramanathaswamy with devotion throughout the year. Hogenakkal falls and Kanyakumari are also the main attractions in terms of natural sites. Tamil Nadu has two world-famous GI products in the form of Kanchipuram silk and Thanjavur dolls. Tamil food and movies are also very famous all over the world, with millions of domestic and foreign fans.
