From the post bus stop in Blatten, follow the winter hiking trail towards Fafleralp as far as the bridge in Kühmatt. Cross the valley’s River Lonza here and head to the right past Chiamadmatte, Vorsaas and Matta on the approved route through the Federal Swiss no-hunting zone as far as the bridge at Gletscherstafel. Now, more or less follow the trail towards the Grundsee lake. Follow the ski tracks that descend from the Lötschenlücke south of the River Lonza, if possible as far as the snout of the Lang Glacier. Return along the same route to Blatten.

Tip: This extremely long route can be shortened slightly by following the winter hiking trail/cross-country track between Blatten and Gletscherstafel (but take care as cross-country skiers always have priority).

Kann man diese Wanderung auch ohne Schneeschuhe machen oder sind wie Wanderwege komplett zugeschneit? Würde morgen hingehen! Danke!
