Beautiful winter hike through the valley's ski region Heuberg to the bottom of the ski area Ifen.
On this winter hike you cross the valley's ski region around the Schlössle Lift, Heuberg and Schöntal and hike to the valley station of the Hohe Ifen. You won't be able to take your eyes off the breathtaking panorama. Watch on one side the busy Heuberg ski slopes and enjoy the silence on the other side.

The tour starts on the Rohrweg directly at the bus stop Tobel. After 10 minutes, uphill we have brought the first effort behind us and pass the reservoir for about 20 - 30 minutes. The path across the ski area Heuberg is relatively flat and gives us beautiful views to the Parsenn. In the "Gasthof Walserblick" we can get a little rest before we walk steeply up again on the left side towards the Schöntallift for some 15 minutes (if you prefer to avoid this increase can also go directly to the Schröflesäge on the right ). After the Schöntalhof you leave the hustle and get on a quiet, groomed path that leads through a romantic forest. After the bridge, turn right in the direction Schröflesäge and from there to the left into Wäldele. Again, we are in a quiet place and even the Ifen is now at sight. Along the toboggan run, the trail leads slightly upwards to the Auenhütte where we have deserved a refreshment.

Most routes from Germany lead to Ulm before carrying on along the A7. Take the Allgäu junction over a section of the A980 to the Waltenhofen junction, then take the 4- lane B19 via Sonthofen and Oberstdorf to Kleinwalsertal. From Austria (Vorarlberg) and Switzerland you reach the Kleinwalsertal via the Bregenzerwald (Hittisau) – Riedbergpass – Fischen – Oberstdorf. From Tyrol the fastest route is over the A7 to Kempten carrying on along the B19 direction Oberstdorf. A motorway vignette is not required to reach the valley.
