Family-friendly winter hike at the Kögelweiher and Attlesee lakes

On this easy hiking tour you walk leisurely and without much effort from the Kögelweiher to the Attlesee. There is a lot to discover in the landscape and nature reserve: beautiful shoreline sections, meadow passages with views of the Ostallgau mountains and shady wooded areas where birds and small animals cavort (if you are lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of a squirrel). The highlights of the tour are the two lakes, which in winter make a wonderful panorama with reflecting ice surfaces and the mountains in the background. The best way to enjoy this dreamlike picture is to take a short break (to play) at one of the numerous little benches. At the end of the winter hike, the popular Alpe Kögelhof invites you for a final stop. There you can enjoy hearty snacks, Bavarian delicacies or the excellent Kaiserschmarrn on the sun terrace. And the little ones can also look forward to an in-house playground!
