Die zweite Etappe der großen Allgäu-Durchquerung führt von der Fiderepasshütte über den beliebten Mindelheimer Klettersteig zur Mindelheimer Hütte.

Mit dem Mindelheimer Klettersteig erwartet uns schon am zweiten Tag eine der Königsetappen. Sowohl klettertechnisch als auch landschaftlich ist der mit zahlreichen Drahtseilen, Eisenklammern und Trittstiften sowie einigen Leitern gesicherte Steig überaus lohnend. Dementsprechend groß ist an schönen Sommertagen auch der Andrang. In logischer Wegführung geht es über den schroffen, zerklüfteten Grat, stets begleitet von einem eindrucksvollen Blick auf die Walsertaler Berge im Westen und den Allgäuer Hauptkamm im Osten. Dabei überschreiten wir mit den drei Schafalpenköpfen und dem Kemptner Köpfle gleich vier Gipfel. Mit etwas Glück können wir außerdem den ein oder anderen Steinbock beobachten.
