The panoramic via ferrata, nicknamed "Strade degli banditi" (bandit trail), was probably created by smugglers in the last century. It leads us from a platform above the Hotel Pier over partly extremely exposed ledges to the old access road to Pregàsina, the Strada del Ponale. During this trip, we always enjoy the beautiful view over Lake Garda, the city of Riva del Garda and the surrounding mountains. The path is not very demanding, but many parts of the path are not belayed, some not at all. Therefore, we can only recommend this route for experienced climbers who are not afraid of heights.
