Great via ferrata circuit on the Tegelberg
A day-long via ferrata tour with three via ferrata routes (A to D) and summit ascent via the King's Slides on the Tegelberg mountain.
The Tegelberg (1707 m) at the Forggensee near Schwangau offers the perfect conditions for an adventurous via ferrata day in the Allgäu Alps with its three via ferrata routes. In addition to the easy via ferrata trail Gelbe Wand (A), the Tegelbergsteig (C) and, since 2012, the short but very challenging Fingersteig (D) await the ferratista. The routes are all excellently secured, individual sections are marked with numbers for emergencies and the climbs have many (for some tastes too many) steps and pegs. Of course, the climbs can also be done individually. However, if you have the time, motivation, strength and stamina, you should do all the climbs as a round tour to get to know the Tegelberg on the most varied routes.
