Linnansaari Snowshoeing Trail 7 km, Linnansaari National Park
This 7 km long snowshoe trail follows the Circular Trail of Linnansaari National Park, which is the park's most popular hiking trail. It takes you through varied and semi-demanding terrain to groves and hill tops, even in winter. On the trail, you will also cross the Linnansaarenlampi pond via duckboard bridge with handrails. Along the route, you will also find the camping sites of Perpulanluhta and Sammakkoniemi. Go up the Linnavuori hill and admire the idyllic winter scenery of the frozen Haukivesi from the scenic viewpoint.
You can get to the start point of the route from Sammakkoniemi Camping, where you will find campfire sites, a cooking shelter, and a rental sauna. The route is marked with orange circles.
