From Balderschwang to the Sipplinger Head
In the area with the Nagelfluh, a conglomerate rock, the peaks sometimes look rugged and bizarre, such is the case with the Sipplingerkopf, the most prominent peak between the Gunzesrieder Tal and the Balderschwanger Tal. The southern ascent offers an interesting route with gentle hollows between the steep steps and the striking rocky peaks. Predominantly south-facing, the tour is particularly suitable for fresh powder snow and firn conditions.
