Take this 8-day round trip which starts from Helsinki, where you drive north to the shores of Lake Päijänne. You can for example visit in city of Lahti, and/or take a cruise on lovely Lake Päijänne. Also you can visit in Padasjoki, where you can take a cruise (M/S Elbatar) to Päijänne National Park.

After that you can drive to Asikkala and from there to city of Jyväskylä. From Jyväskylä your journey continues to Konnevesi, where is Häyläranta Harbour. If you want you can swim there and enhoy a sandy beach or take a lake cruise or paddle a canoe in beautiful lakeland scenery of Southern Konnevesi National Park.

Your next destination in this route is Linnansaari National Park, where you can spot rare lake seals and majestic ospreys. After a long day in Linnansaari National Park you can spend your evening in historic Savonlinna.

After Savonlinna you can head to Punkaharju, and enjoy this internationally known tourist area for 200 years. And in your last day of this trip you will arrive back to Helsinki.
