This circular route, which starts and finishes in Costa Adeje to the southwest, is one of the most spectacular in Tenerife. It passes through the coastal area, medium altitudes and mountainous areas. The elevation profile offers both climbs and descents. The first half of the route is almost entirely uphill, making this part of the tour very demanding. Through agricultural areas and past the villages of Los Menores and Tejina de Guía we reach Guía de Isora. After about 40 km we enter the El Teide National Park and reach the viewpoint El Mirador de Chío with a fantastic view of Pico Viejo. From the Boca Tauce road junction, the route continues downhill back to the starting point. Great viewpoints and the town of Vilaflor lie along the way.
