This part starts at Häverö church. This church is very special with its large amount of paintings depicting historical people and events.

There is also a depiction of the keyed fiddle, an instrument with historical connections to the area of Uppland.This stretch will take you along gravel roads towards Häverödal. You will walk along the old country road, church lanes and woodland paths towards the little village. Enjoy the tranquil landscape with its varying scenery. 

 

 

Author’s recommendation

A stop at Häverö Edebo hembygdsgård (local heritage center) is recommended to see typical 18th and 19th century buildings from the area.
