Distance 25.9 km
The episode includes the passage of the Greater Poland Way of St. James through Poznań and its eastern suburbs, Kobylnica and Gruszczyn. It requires almost a whole day of walking, during which it is worth spending an additional about 3 hours to explore the historic center of the capital of Greater Poland. The trail itself - for formal reasons - bypasses Ostrów Tumski and the Old Town.
From Kobylnica, after passing Lake Swarzędzkie, the trail leads along a convenient foot and bicycle route for 8 km to Lake Malta. Right behind him is the cradle of the city - Ostrów Tumski. From here you can go to the Old Town, although the marked trail leads us south, along the eastern bank of the Warta through St.John Paul II street by the walking route to the Starołęka roundabout. Then we head south-east towards the Krzesiny military airport and then along ul. Głuszyny to the local church of St. James.
