The 1900 kilometres long pilgrim trail "VIA ROMEA", from Stade (close to Hamburg) to Rom, from Stade to Harsefeld.
The pilgrim trail "VIA ROMEA" starts at Stade. It leads from the inner courtyard of the former Franciscan monastery (at the statue of abbot Albert) through Stade, into the wide landscape of Northern Germany. The tour is marked by little forest areas, areas of arable land and the "Frankenmoor". At the end, we reach the former monastery grounds of Harsefeld.
