The trail sets off from Saas-Grund towards Saas-Almagell, following the Saaser Vispa river until it reaches the Kapellenweg (Church Trail) camping grounds, where, shortly before reaching the imposing Fee gorge, it turns off towards Saas-Fee. Along the path, hikers constantly encounter enchanting chapels, each portraying the life story of Jesus Christ in pictures, and spectacular views of the Fee gorge. The main attraction on this trail is the Gnadenkapelle (Chapel of Mercy) "zur Hohen Stiege", built in 1747. The trail ends at the wellnessHostel4000 in Saas-Fee.
