The Liimanninkoski nature trail on the grove conservation area combines hiking and the cultural environment. The traditional landscape is taken care of by the sheep along the route, the rapids flow deep into the riverbed, and there is an exhibition of old agricultural tools in the barn. Liiimanninkoski rapids is an impressive sight as it digs into the sandy soil of its riverbed, bringing out the rocky subsoil and granite rock over which the water masses bubble. Liimanninkoski is a Rokua UNESCO Global Geopark destination.
Liimanninkoski is a suitable day trip destination for the whole family and is also well suited for school groups. Along the trail, there are information boards that tell about the Liimanninkoski area and the special features of its nature. Rare and protected plants grow along the path, which is why deviations from the paths should be avoided. Lean-to shelter is located on the shore of the rapids and is a nice place to have a break while listening the rapids.
