The big tour across the Allgaeu is just as impressive as it is diverse. The multiple-day tour takes you through the nature reserve of the Allgaeu High-Alps. You walk from Söllereck across the south-eastern Walsertal Mountains, the main Allgaeu ridge and from the Rauhhornzug to Hinterstein.
They are the most well-known and at the same time the most demanding stages of the six-day tour across the Allgaeu Alps: the Mindelheimer via ferrata and the Heilbronner path. Both require maximum sure-footedness and a head for heights. The other stages with partly very long passages are also worth the effort. The tour takes you either over flower-studded alpine meadows or rocky terrains alongside the German-Austrian border. We walk across numerous high summits (among them Hohes Licht and Mädelegabel) and pass two of the region's most beautiful mountain lakes: Eissee and Schrecksee. The impressive panorama includes well-known peaks such as Trettachspitze, Höfats and Hochvogel as well as the Lechtaler Alps.
