Nice albeit demanding hike from Glacier 3000 to the Sanetsch dam.

Belle randonnée, parfois difficile, entre Glacier 3000 et le barrage de Sanetsch
The first part is on the suspension bridge ("Peak Walk by Tissot") to enjoy the view. Then starts the hike itself with a descent to the glacier itself. Then, it continues in the snow to the "Quille du Diable". From there it goes down on a part of the glacier where actually everything melted. This section is rather technical, often not so well indicated.
Once it is behind, a little river (Le Lachon) must be crossed (there is no bridge so it is necessary to look for a ford). Then it is an easy path that goes by the source of the Sarine river and the Sanetsch Pass, before descending to the Sanetsch dam.

La première partie se déroule sur le pont suspendu ("Peak Walk by Tissot") pour profiter de la vue. Puis commence la randonnée proprement dite avec une descente sur le glacier. Ensuite, elle se poursuit dans la neige jusqu'à la "Quille du Diable". De là, on descend sur une partie du glacier où en fait tout a fondu. Cette section est assez technique, souvent mal indiquée.
Une fois sorti, il faut traverser une petite rivière (Le Lachon): en l'absence de pont, il faut chercher un gué. Ensuite, c'est un chemin facile qui passe par la source de la Sarine et le col du Sanetsch, avant de descendre au barrage du Sanetsch.

Train to Les Diablerets, then bus to Col du Pillon, where the cable car to the top (Glacier 3000) departs.
From Sanetsch Dam, either cable car to Steig and then bus back to Col du Pillon or to Diablerets train station, or bus (Postauto) to Sion (one or two per day only).

Train jusqu'aux Diablerets, puis bus jusqu'au Col du Pillon, d'où part le téléphérique pour le sommet (Glacier 3000).
Du barrage du Sanetsch, soit téléphérique jusqu'à Steig, puis bus jusqu'au Col du Pillon ou à la gare des Diablerets, soit car postal jusqu'à Sion (un ou deux par jour seulement).
