EquipmentWe recommend wearing protective bike gear (elbow pads, knee pads, helmet, back protector, etc.) on all mountain bike routes. Make sure that you only use a bike that meets today's quality standards. On Bike & Hike tours, we always recommend taking a lock with you. For hiking wear appropriate equipment, such as breathable and weather-appropriate outdoor clothing. Ankle-high hiking boots, wind, rain and sun protection, a hat and possibly gloves are required for all hikes and tours. It is necessary to take a first-aid kit, a mobile phone and possibly a hiking map with you, as well as sufficient provisions for hikes without the possibility to stop for refreshments.
