Scenic but challenging tour with a place to stop and swim at Unterer Gaisalpsee in the Oberstdorf mountains.

The start of our hike takes us through the forest. Following the Gaisalpbach stream, we walk on a Tobelweg through partly impassable terrain: over tree roots, stones and bridges overflowing with water (alternatively also on the asphalt road). Then we reach the managed Gais- and Richteralpe. For those who are in good shape, the route is easy. Those who are not particularly fit can end their tour here and enjoy the impressive view in the direction of Sontofen and Kempten. For the well-trained, the tour really begins now.
