Der zackige Grat der Pfannenhölzer verläuft vom Mittagspitzl nach Westen zum Kleinen Daumen und überschreitet dabei drei andere Gipfel: Spichererkopf, Pfannenhölzer und Kirchl (Pfannhölzerturm).
