Care on Tor Hill descent through the woods – mud, horses
Whilst care should be taken on the Tor Hill descent through the woods (can get claggy during the winter, plus popular with horse riders so riders should control the speed of their descent to avoid unexpected meetings), this is better than descending on the road down Blackquarries Hill, which is very steep and can lead to a loss of control for unwary riders, and can meet vehicles coming up in the narrow sections at inopportune moments.
