Start at Margate Beach, a classic off- and on-road circular route - 31 miles in total.
easy
Distance 50 km
A 31 mile well-known classic loop around the Isle of Thanet.
This loop is clockwise starting at the junction of Marine Terrace and Marine Drive looking out over Margate Beach.
The route is mostly on-road and well within the capability of a touring bike. A narrow-wheel road bike will cope but the odd stretch might be a bit bumpy...
The most challenging part is the inland section which also has some uphill, but nothing alarming.
