Deeside Railway line to Crathes where you cycle over ancient bridges and under the A93 ( see photo) as you venture up to Crathes Castle. A spectacular castle to behold in amazing grounds.

Deeside Railway line is a treat to cycle along, its in great condition and traverses through a beautiful landscape. Nice resting stop at Crathes Castle. When open there are shops, tea rooms and toilets. Return road trip is on very quiet rural roads with a spirited fast downhill section into Drumoak.
