It felt like this ride was up hill all the way and there were too many road miles. The final downhill was good, but it wasn't the reward we were hoping for after all the up.

I agree with this ^^ The route is from the VP white peak book. There's a couple of good bits but not enough to make it worthwhile. The standard Macc forest route is a better loop to incorporate Cumberland clough
