Cwm Ceulan Evening Rise
I class this as a 2-3 hour route for the intermediate rider. A great evening ride watching the sun setting over Cardigan Bay.

A great evening ride that you could do over and over; you will never grow tired of the views, especially in the summer watching the sun going down over Cardigan Bay.
This route passes down the steep, rocky and rutted section of path known locally as "the chute".
Point 1 - Nice bit of "natural" single track; loose stone and few drop offs and small jump opportunities for the more advanced rider
Point 2 - The "Chute" comes with its very own warning sign. I would very much advise walking this section before riding it; this is quite a long, steep, rocky and technical section so be warned. Who cares if you dont ride it, nobody's watching you...its only 400 meters of a 15 mile ride.
Between Point 3 & 4 - steep climb. I challenge anyone to climb this on their bike; its only a short bit but its a "pusher" not a "rider"!
Point 5 - Nice bit of rough & rutted path to finish of with; take care, this route has been badly washed out in places and contains big ruts, rocky outcrops and steps/drop offs.
Unfortunately a lot of the climbing is done on the way back on this route; but you wont mind as you'll be enjoying some fantastic scenery. Great climb back from Glaspwll. Do it without stopping then head for a pint in the White Lion Tal-y-bont.
