This is a lovely ride with a mix of roads, canal paths and generally good tracks - even in wintertime - and not too strenuous or technical.
The route has great variety and is very scenic. Highlights include Grand Union Canal, Marsworth Lakes, Pitstone restored windmill, Pitstone Hill, the pretty village of Aldbury (ancient stocks by the pond), and Ashridge Forest .,
