This demanding transboundary cycling tour with three ascends leads through the villages of Robidišče, Prossenicco (Prosnid), Logje and Breginj and offers a historical, botanical, geological and architectural advanture. Because of the gravel section, we recommend you to make this tour using an e-bicycle with somewhat robust tyres. In the villages of Prossenicco (Prosnid) and Robidišče you can refresh yourself in local inns, whilst in the villages of Prossenicco (Prosnid), Breginj and Robidišče you can also visit museums and galleries. You can find a nicely preserved old Venetian architecture in these villages, including balconies and stone paved roads called "landrone".
During the summer months, you can freshen up in the Nadiža River, which is the warmest Alpine river, whilst during the winter months, we recommend you to wear warm clothing because certain sections of the tour lie in the shadow. All along the trail you will be able to see varied vegetation
Author’s recommendation
Because the trail includes a gravel section, we advise you to use more robust bicycles. You can also make this tour with gravel bicycles.
There is a grocery shop in the village of Breginj, however, you have to check out the opening hours in advance. The same applies to inns, museums and galleries.
Remember to bring identity documents.

For the first four kilometres, you will descend and ascend along the cart track and then continue along a paved section: First, you have to descend a little and cross the Nadiža River, ascend to the village of Breginj, descend to the village of Logje, cross the Nadiža River again and finally ascend to the village of Robidišče.
