This MTB Cross Country route, suitable also for the less experienced, will make you discover some magical places in the Cansiglio Forest. The ring-route takes place mainly on dirt roads surrounded by the peaceful mountain pastures and forest roads, where you may come across the many herds of deer that inhabit the Forest.

You will explore many interesting places that characterize the Piana del Cansiglio such as the "Giangio Lorenzoni", an Alpine Botanical Garden and the characteristic dwellings of the Cimbrian Villages. You will also discover Valmenera, the coldest place in Italy with its -40° during the coldest winters and admire the beautiful colours of the foliage in autumn.

Getting thereIf you arrive from Treviso you can go along the SP422 road from Fregona up to the mountain hut S.Osvaldo, located at the centre of the plain.
If you arrive from Friuli Venezia Giulia you can take the SP61 road from Sarone and then continue on the SP422 road up to the mountain hut rifugio S.Osvaldo, located at the centre of the plain.
If you arrive from Belluno you can take the SP28 road from Farra d'Alpago and then continue on the SP422 road up to the mountain hut rifugio S.Osvaldo, located at the centre of the plain.
