When biking down from Myrdal back to Flåm, the trail is very well marked and you’re following the train tracks nearly the entire time. You’ll pass waterfalls, rivers, sheep pastures and even small farms. Some of these farms offer tastings so keep your eyes peeled!
You’ll begin on a dirt road and there is one section with multiple switchbacks but the dirt is hard packed and not singletrack. The rest of the route is on pavement and is mostly car-free until you get close to the town of Flåm. The entire trail is very well marked so continue following the signs for Flåm.
In Flåm, you’ll pass a small chapel on your left. Be sure to take a short break to check out the inside.
Upon arrival to Flåm Harbor and the Train Station, you’ll return your bikes at the bike rental shop next to the Flåmsbana Train - be sure to return to later than 6:30PM.
