This Long distance mountain bike route, which is physically and technically challenging, first leads us from Mittenwald through the Karwendel, the Zillertal and over the Pfitscherjoch. Then it goes over the Dolomites to Riva del Garda.
This long distance mountain bike route route takes us in eight stages from Mittenwald to Riva del Garda. From Mittenwald it first goes into the angular Karwendel massif. Here we get a lot of gravel under the tires and slide from the Hochalmsattel down to Eng. We drive through the Zillertal on asphalt roads and gather strength for the arduous ascent to the Pfitscherjoch. The sliding passage up to the yoke is not entirely without its 5 difficult km length, but it is almost the only inaccessible route on this Transalp. Otherwise, this Transalp includes a varied route with a good mix of asphalt roads, gravel roads and some flowing trails.
