GR 16: Sentier de la Semois

The Semois is considered one of the most beautiful rivers in Wallonia and shows its different sides in the course of the hike - first gentle and flowing, then rougher and wilder. The river accompanies us the whole way, because it is either right next to us or we can see it from the numerous vantage points, for example from the Pinco, north of Lacuisine. Like the river, our path changes from stage to stage and becomes more and more challenging and adventurous. On the long journey on partly old Roman roads, we also come across villages that invite us to stop for a short while to taste local specialities - the locals always give us hikers a warm welcome. In Vresse-sur-Semois there is also the opportunity to sign the GR16 visitors' book - I wonder who is already there?
