The route of the Giudicarie Inferiori cycling path covers a distance of about 20 kilometres. It starts from the Chiese river delta on the shores of Lago d’Idro, passes through Storo, and crosses the towns of the Valley all the way to Bondo.
The place of “judgement”: not of your physical condition, but in a historical sense. This is the land of the seven Parishes, and therefore of the seven main churches. There are many places of artistic interest along the route, from the Santa Maria Parish church in Condino to the church of Santa Giustina in Pieve di Bono. The cycling-hiking path is an excellent starting point to discover the signs left in the territory by the Great War, like walkways, trenches, and posts.
The Giudicarie Inferiori can be reached from the south and from the north via National road 12 del Brennero, or motorway A 22 /exit at Trento Centro, distance from the toll gate about 50 Km), then continuing along national road SS 237 del Caffaro. Otherwise, in the East-West direction via the Milano-Venezia motorway (exit at Brescia Est), turning onto national road SS 237 del Caffaro.
