This stage on the Enns bike path takes us from town to town: From Steyr we go to Enns, where we also come across the Danube bike path a few kilometres further on.
From the town square in Steyr, our last stage leads through the ever widening landscape in the Alpine foothills to Enns, partly on asphalt, partly on unpaved roads. Attention: there are alternatives here again, whereby one route leads over less frequented ways, the other over more frequented ways.
The right bike: touring bike or city bike, racing bikes are not recommended.
Breakdowns can happen - but seldom in front of the door of one of the numerous service points: basic equipment for tools and equipment are of advantage! Replacement hose and/or repair kit, universal wrench, air pump, brake and shift cable and a screwdriver can never be damaged.
